Dunes and open sky

The Sahara

Golden dunes, immense silence and star-filled nights in Morocco's southeast.

Morocco's Sahara is reached through the south and east of the country, where the great sand seas of Erg Chebbi (near Merzouga) and Erg Chigaga (near M'Hamid) rise from the desert floor.

The desert is about atmosphere: light at sunrise and sunset, quiet, and time to slow down. How you experience it, from a short dune walk to a night under canvas, can be shaped around your comfort and preferences.
